Exploratory Prototypes Across Emerging Verticals
To expand PropVR’s vision beyond traditional real estate, I led concept prototypes across Smart Cities and Smart Airports. Which are part of PropVR's Digital Twin Solutions.
Each POC was built using fictional scenarios and exploratory workflows — designed to test spatial UX patterns, inspire stakeholders, and validate how our capabilities could scale into new industries.
Smart Airport Experience
Overview
A concept prototype exploring how spatial UX and immersive 3D navigation could enhance airport operations, passenger experience, and decision-making.
Designed as an internal exploration under the Smart Airports vertical, the goal was to demonstrate how PropVR’s visualization capabilities could scale beyond real estate.
Problem Space / Context
Airports are system-heavy environments—wayfinding, terminal operations, parking, departures, gates.
Most legacy dashboards are static, text-heavy, and difficult to interpret quickly.
We explored:
What if airport data could be visualized spatially for faster clarity and better decisions?
What This POC Demonstrates
This prototype showcases:
-
A 3D digital twin of the airport with intuitive camera paths
-
Passenger journey visualization from entry → check-in → security → boarding
-
Macro → micro transitions to move between terminals and gates
-
Ambient UI overlays for flight status, crowding, and zone highlights
-
A cinematic storytelling layer to help stakeholders see the system instead of reading about it
My Role
Product Design Lead — Visualization Strategy & UX Narrative
I drove:
-
The overall experience arc and storytelling
-
The mapping of operational concepts into spatial metaphors
-
The interaction model (macro → micro navigation, zoom, transitions)
-
UI overlays for status, activity, or flow
-
Alignment with the Smart Airports vertical narrative
-
Final review of visuals, pacing, and clarity
This prototype functioned as a vision piece — a way for stakeholders to instantly understand what PropVR could contribute to airport ecosystems.
Outcome
-
Helped leadership articulate how PropVR could expand into non-real-estate verticals
-
Used as a pre-sales narrative tool in Smart Airport conversations
-
Sparked internal alignment on 3D twins for transport & infrastructure sectors
Smart city - operational data visualisation
Overview
A concept prototype demonstrating how a city-scale 3D environment can support visibility, navigation, and urban storytelling.
Developed under PropVR’s Smart Cities vision, this POC explored how spatial data layers and interactive mapping could help stakeholders grasp city insights at a glance.
Problem Space / Context
Cities generate massive amounts of information — development zones, traffic flow, utilities, landmarks.
Traditional maps fail to communicate relationships across scale.
This exploration asked:
How might a 3D spatial interface help city planners and decision-makers understand urban systems holistically?
What This POC Demonstrates
-
A cinematic fly-through of a fictional Abu Dhabi digital twin
-
Layer toggles for zoning, project clusters, and key landmarks
-
Macro → district → project-level transitions
-
Spatial storytelling through lighting, motion, and guided camera paths
-
A modular system that could adapt to any global city in future
My Role
-
Defined the conceptual narrative and scale points (city → district → block)
-
Directed which layers to visualize and how to simplify them
-
Crafted the experience flow to feel both functional and visionary
-
Ensured no real client data was used; purely fictional but strategically aligned
Outcome
-
Became a reference asset for Smart City discussions
-
Helped position PropVR as a potential partner for city digital-twin projects
-
Demonstrated internal capability to operate beyond real estate boundaries
